How to use printables to organise your life

I have just started using a discbound planner to keep me organised. I really don’t know why I didn’t do this earlier because it is a great way to have everything in one place. In this blog post I will show you how to use printables to organise your life.

What is a discbound planner?

The discbound system is similar to a ringbinder except instead of having sheets of hole punched paper you have a system that uses discs. These discs have grooves cut into them to allow them to hold on to the paper.

A lot of people think that the planner will fall apart but they are incredibly sturdy.

What is also great about this type of planner is that you can easily remove a sheet of paper and re-insert it without having to open up lever arches or mess about with the other sheets in your planner.

Using printables is a simple and effective way to organise your life. Below are 5 steps to follow to get you started.

  1. Decide what style planner that you want to use. For example: an A4 ringbinder, a discbound system or even a bullet journal.

  2. Write a list of all the areas of your life you want to organise. For example:

    1. Finances and spending

  1. Food shopping and weekly meals

  1. Christmas holidays and gift buying

  2. Working from home schedule

  1. Household inventory

  2. Student or homeschooling

  1. Go over to Etsy or use Google and type in the search bar something from your list. For example: you might want to keep track of your finances and spending so you could type “Printable budget planner inserts”.

  2. Once you have found a few printables that you might want to use you can add them to your cart and pay.

  3. Go straight to your email and grab those digital files and save them wherever you save your downloads.

  4. Print them out ready to use.

That is how easy it is.
