How to buy kitchen art on a budget

A lot of people forget about the kitchen when buying art: I know I have in the past.

Recently I was looking online for some affordable art for my kitchen. Then I realised that I could create some for myself and add it to my Etsy shop for other people to enjoy.

The thing with printable art is that it is budget friendly and can be changed as often as you want to because of the low cost.

Below are 5 steps that you can take when buying printable art for the kitchen.

  1. Take a good look around your kitchen and make a note of all the available wall space that you have. This will help you decide on the size of the art that would look right.

  2. Does your kitchen need a bit of a declutter? If so, give it a good clearout.

  3. Think of the colour scheme that would look good in your kitchen. Have a look on Pinterest for kitchen interiors to get some ideas and inspiration.

  4. Think about the mood you want to create in your kitchen. For example, do you prefer fun and bright colours, neutral tones or pastels? This makes it easier to search online for the right printable.

  5. You don’t have to worry about the size of the printout because you can mount it and add it to a larger frame. See example below.

Make buying art for the kitchen a fun experience and go check out my Etsy shop for some inspiration.
